National Citizen Service are looking for Autumn recruits

The National Citizen Service are looking for new recruits this October half-term.

Available for 16-17 year old's, the NCS week will give youngsters the opportunity to experience life away from home and possibly embark on activities that could transform their future.

With over 200,000 young people already experiencing what the NCS has to offer, the week is set to bring more young people together to embark on a range of challenging activities and undoubtedly increase their employability. With NCS recognised by UCAS, the week comes around the time that university hopefuls will be preparing their statements, and potentially having the Service on that form could make all the difference.

Government backed, the maximum cost for the week is only £50. It does begin on October 14th, so time is running out if you want to sign up.

The NCS East Midlands website states: "NCS is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for 16-17 year olds to build skills for work and life, while taking on new challenges and meeting new friends. NCS takes place for four weeks during the summer holidays or during the autumn and spring half terms and we have various start dates available depending on where you live."
