The National Forest has released its 2022 schedule of 'National Forest Walks'. This is a series of walks over the period of 14th-26th May 2022 for all ages and abilities. there is a wide variety of walks and lots of beautiful places to explore.

In this document you will find more information about National Forest Walks, events to get involved in, special themed walks and a schedule of walks.

Across Hinckley and Bosworth there are many organised National Forest 'Nordic' Walks, including locations such as Thornton Reservoir, Bagworth Heath, Martinshaw Woods and Markfield.

Led by experienced Nordic walkers, explore quaint villages, panoramic views, ancient and modern woodlands, practice Shinrin Yoku (Forest Bathing without the water!), different flora and fauna and much more!
