What is a Physical Activity Referral?
Physical Activity Referrals are a selection of physical activity programmes for people with medical conditions, whose health would benefit from being more active. Each programme helps people to be active in a safe environment and manage the symptoms of their condition.

There are various Pilates classes across the borough for back pain conditions.
Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation
The Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation referral scheme is for individuals with established coronary heart disease, or who have undergone a cardiac event or cardiac surgery.

Exercise Referral is 12 week programme of personalised physical activity support for people with specific health conditions.

The Older Adults exercise group is open to anyone 50 years +. The group is designed to give older people their own fun and targeted fitness sessions away from the pressures and concerns of traditional activity groups that put many people off.

Chatter Chairs are friendly, chair-based sessions enjoying a complimentary cup of tea, biscuit and a chat for 30 minutes,

Steady Steps is a 24-week programme tailored to those who have previously fallen or worry about falling.
